LitePoint, a provider of wireless test solutions, announced today that Altair Semiconductor has standardized its production test tools on LitePoint’s IQxstream multi-DUT cellular test solution.
IQxstream covers all of Altair’s 4G LTE cellular chipsets, including the CAT-1 FourGee-1160/6401, designed for Internet of Things applications. LitePoint’s solution accelerates manufacturing test times by testing multiple devices simultaneously, enabling device makers to get their products to market significantly faster.
“Cellular isn’t just for phones anymore. The LTE bands are being increasingly used for IoT applications. In IoT, the winners will be determined by who gets their product to market quickly with the highest quality,” said Brad Robbins, President of LitePoint.
“The market is moving super-fast, so any time savings we can realize is a crucial advantage when going to market with our products. LitePoint’s multi-device cellular test technology offers ease of use and optimal test economics.
Using IQxstream to test our FourGee-1160 IoT chipset will help our device manufacturer customers bring their products to market faster,” said Eran Eshed, Co-Founder and VP of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Altair Semiconductor.
